As an experiment I am trying my hand at painting a piece on wood. It is not a good piece of wood rather it is a piece of Plywood.
Many problems with getting the wood prepped correctly but I am managing to get it to work.
This pic will be in a show I am in in August at the Two Bells Bar and Grill in Belltown Seattle.
It is 16 x 20. I used a sketch I did a while back for the subject.

Some progress on my latest commission. Done in Flash.

Working on 2 custom pics for a couple clients.
1 is based on the families dog and future son with a twist of Never Ending Story.

The other is a Unicorn ( sorta a monster ) with the families 2 girls.

These are just preliminary sketches so there will be cleanup and placement changes and so on.

A friend of mine and his wife are in a band called THE DREWS.

They are amazing. And are the coolest people.

I was recently asked to paint one of their guitars.

a 1960 Telecaster. Worth a Ton. I am honored that they want me to paint such a sweet instrument.

Here is a color study I am working on.

It is to have tons of eyes on it and the focus is on The Eye of Horus.

Just barely started painting this but wanted to share anyhow.

Another fish painting I am doing for my sons room. It will be in 3-4 colors flat fill like the other 3 fish paintings I did. It is a lot larger though.18 x 24 stretched linen.
