A tighter sketch…fInal coming soon!

Well it is that time of the year already and I have been asked to do the art for this years Xbox Big Day Out comp in France..

This is a quick layout of the poster. I am awaiting approval before tightening it up but I thought I would share it with Y’all.

I had to write this post because I am so pumped on canvas painting…

I never ever do it and I just started by stretching linen and doing my own gesso and painting using acrylic and its the shit.

My buddy Kevin hooked me up with a linen stretching session and got me on my way.

I am on my first actual painting for my series and its the fat chick eating tons of grub.

Ill post it when its done. could be weeks.

Anywhoo, I was just pumped and had to share it with the 2 people that probably read my stupid posts heh..

A quick sketch for the Strong Man painting. I will have him ripping a cow in half. Holding one half in each hand hehe.. I don’t want it to be gross so I will make its insides just look like the cartoons where it is a circle inside for a bone heh..like a Ham.

Anyhow just wanted to share.

I have been swamped with work and things so I haven’t started painting yet but I swear I will soon.

Preparing your own canvas is alot more time consuming than I had thought too heh.

These sketches were done during camping with a ball point. I am fleshing out Ideas for another Carny pic. I want it to look like an old black and white photo. So I will have them all posed together in a room with stuff around them from the time period. I guess these three are brothers. All with a different deformity. Kills 3 birds with one stone for my series hehe.. Anyhow these are loose sketches but I haven’t posted in a while.

Also I got word that I am doing yet another poster for the X-box Big Day Out snowboard comp in France so stay tuned for sketches soon..
